The defense has an uphill climb to disprove so much evidence against their client Ghislaine Maxwell. They started with the line in the open to set the tone of their questioning. As a whole it’s one of the greatest attempts to shift blame off of their client, Ms. Maxwell. The defense continusly pushes the notion through out the open of female victimhood at the hands of prosecution. With evidence in the pretrial documents and the transcripts we will show conclusively how this narrative is truely stretching the bounds of reality.

Arguement 1. Epstein is not on trial, but his name and his conduct along with his cohorts are.

The defense would like to make everyone believe that Ghislaine Maxwell is just an innocent bystander/scapegoat in all of the misdeeds of her former beau and employer Jeffery Epstein. As referenced in the Visoski testimony she not only was involved but part owner in the company. Maxwell was also an integral part of the household planning and hiring for all the properties. When it came to the household the buck stopped with Maxwell as referenced by Visoski and Witness Jane. When it comes to being a scapegoat the defense is going to have a hard time overcoming such damning testimony.

Arguement 2. This case is about Memory, Manipulation, and Money.

The Defense wants to make the claim that as time passed the memory of the sexual assualt will fade. As referenced in the transcripts “you will hear from them (the Victims)and the will recount their memories, memories of a quarter century ago.” As a witness who has yet to testify has written in various peer reviewed studies “Trauma Victims can still recall tramatic events decades after events have taken place. The Witness has testified to such not only in court but in front of congressional/senate committees.

The Defense brings in manipulation and the motivation of money as a cause for bringing a criminal complaint against Ghislaine Maxwell. In line 20-22 on page 46 the defense,”, manipulated by a narcissistic man and self-interested civil lawyers, and a desire for a big jackpot of money.” Its interesting how they draw that conclusion with the civil suit and settlement completely over. Several of the charges count 5 and 6 Perjury Charges are directly related to lying under oath in a deposition for said civil trial. When Ghislaine’s freedom are not at stake the defense implies that it is okay to lie under oath. Evidently it doesn’t matter that multiple lies by the defendant and her counsel are by and large affecting the total outcome of the trial and give more credence to the prosecution and their witnesses and victims.
